Hourly Rates
- $95-110/hr – Private Sector – Signed Contracts
- $110-125/hr – Business & Legal Sector – Letters of Instruction
- Travel: $65/hr + $0.99/km
Minimum Requirement
- 4-hour minimum when an Investigator is dispatched.
- Typical minimum: $400–$500/day, depending on case type.

RESEARCH & SKIP TRACING (LOCATE SERVICES)
Standard Search:
- $400–$500, depending on information provided
Complex/Evasive Subjects:
- Up to $1,000+ (evasive individuals, limited data, multiple jurisdictions, etc.)
Notes:
- 4-hour minimum applies to all Locate/Skip Trace files
- Research begins once the retainer is received
- Work continues until resources are exhausted — client is contacted before exceeding retainer
- We check for any court orders or restrictions before proceeding
BACKGROUND & DUE DILIGENCE
Private Sector Research:
- $110/hr plus Disbursements
- Includes utilities, phone, hydro, cable, and basic property history
- Additional database/3rd-party access fees may apply
Corporate Screening:
- Criminal background checks (Canada & cross-border declarations)
- Requires signed consent
- Additional verification services are available upon request
Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT):
- Business registries (BC Corporate Registry, NUANS)
- Municipal business licence records (Tri-Cities / Maple Ridge)
- Online advertising platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Houzz, HomeStars)
- Domain ownership, website metadata, archived web content
- Classifieds and local trade postings
- Supplier or contractor directories (no contact yet)
Digital Footprint Correlation:
- Cross-reference names, addresses, phone numbers, and email domains
- Look for operational indicators: job photos, testimonials, branded vehicles, uniforms, signage
- Identify timeline markers (when activity started, frequency, geographic focus)
Historical Address & Entity Verification:
- Confirm whether former business locations remain active
- Identify successor occupants or successor businesses
- Note any visible continuity indicators (equipment, branding style, clientele)
BUG SWEEP / TSCM (Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures)
Residential Sweep:

- Breakdown: $95 serve + $65 notarized Affidavit of Service + GST
- Includes 1 attempt + travel + notarized Affidavit of Service
Complex / Out-of-Area
- $250 deposit (e.g., Vancouver, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge)
Rush Service

The minimum fee still applies.
After the court-suggested three attempts are completed, we can provide a Sworn Affidavit of Attempted Service, fully admissible in court for next-step applications.

- Retainer or payment must be received before work begins
- You’ll be notified if the file requires additional resources
- Pay securely via the CPA online payment portal
